  • Respond to your comments, questions, and customer service requests

  • Verify your identity and eligibility to work (using date of birth and, if required, identity documents), including fraud prevention and compliance with applicable laws and platform policies
  • Send SMS notifications related to your application, interview scheduling, account verification, equipment updates, or urgent service messages. We will not send marketing or promotional SMS without your separate explicit consent

We process personal data based on your consent (e.g., SMS and KYC), performance of a contract or steps prior to entering into a contract (recruitment and onboarding), and our legitimate interests (service security and abuse prevention).

Identity Verification (KYC)

As part of our onboarding process, we may require candidates to complete identity verification. This may include submitting a copy of a government-issued ID, a selfie for comparison, and proof of address. These materials are used strictly for verification and compliance, stored securely, and are not used for unrelated purposes.

We do not sell, trade, or otherwise transfer your personal information to third parties without your consent, except as described in this policy:

Verification documents (e.g., ID copies, selfies, proof of address) are retained for up to 24 months after the process concludes or engagement ends, unless a longer retention period is required by law or to resolve disputes. After that, data is securely deleted.

Children's Privacy

Our Services are not directed to individuals under the age of 18, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18.

International Data Transfers

We may process and store information in the United States. If you are accessing the Services from outside the U.S., your information may be transferred to and processed in the U.S. where data protection laws may differ from those in your jurisdiction.

SMS Communications & Legal Compliance

Message and data rates may apply according to your mobile carrier. Virtual Desk Assist LLC is not responsible for carrier charges.

We comply with applicable laws governing SMS communications, including the Telephone Consumer Protection Act (TCPA) and CAN-SPAM Act.
