Terms of Service

Welcome to Virtual Desk Assist LLC ("Company", "we", "our", "us"). By accessing or using our website, services, or applying for employment or contractor positions, you agree to these Terms & Conditions. Please read them carefully.

1. Definitions

  • "Site" means https://workko.com and any related portals.
  • "Services" means both Client Services and Talent Network Services described below.
  • "Client" means a customer purchasing or testing our Client Services.
  • "Contractor" means an independent contractor participating in our Talent Network.
  • "Equipment" means company-supplied devices such as laptops, phones, tablets, and modems.

2. Scope of Services

2.1 Client Services

We provide access to secure remote workstations located in the United States. Clients receive credentials to access an allocated workstation.

Clients agree to:

  • use the Service only for lawful purposes;
  • keep credentials confidential;
  • not attempt to bypass security, fraud controls, KYC, or AML requirements;
  • not use the Service for spam, malware, scraping in violation of third-party terms, or any illegal activity.

We may monitor usage for security and compliance and suspend access if misuse is detected.

2.2 Talent Network Services

We recruit and onboard independent contractors who host and maintain company-supplied Equipment at their premises. Contractors agree to follow setup instructions, keep Equipment powered and connected, and provide basic troubleshooting when requested. Contractors are not employees of the Company unless explicitly stated in a separate agreement.

3. Eligibility and Verification

You must be at least 18 years old and legally able to enter into a binding agreement. We may require identity and address verification (KYC). We may refuse or terminate access if information is inaccurate or if we detect risk or policy violations.

4. Equipment and Setup

All Equipment remains Company property unless explicitly transferred in writing. Contractors must secure and maintain the Equipment at the designated location. Clients must not tamper with device management, security, or monitoring systems.

5. Fees and Billing (Clients)

Pricing and billing cycles are stated in the order form or invoice. Unless otherwise specified, fees are non-refundable. Late or failed payment may result in service suspension.

6. Compensation (Contractors)

Contractors may receive monthly compensation per installed unit.

A "unit" means one device paired with a modem (e.g., laptop + modem or phone/tablet + modem).

Details are defined in the Contractor Agreement.

7. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • violate any applicable law or regulation;
  • impersonate any person or misrepresent your identity;
  • attempt intrusion, distribute malware, or interfere with the Service;
  • use the Service to evade rules of platforms, marketplaces, or financial institutions.

9. Communications

9.1 Email

By applying or engaging with our Services, you consent to receive emails related to your application, account, billing, or support. Marketing emails, if any, require separate opt-in.

9.2 SMS Terms & Conditions

By explicitly opting in to SMS (for example, by checking a consent box when submitting your phone number), you agree to receive service-related text messages from Virtual Desk Assist LLC. Your SMS consent must be given explicitly and separately from general Terms acceptance.

  • Message Types: strictly service-related notifications, including application updates, interview reminders, identity verification, equipment notifications, and customer support. We will not send marketing or promotional SMS without your separate explicit consent.
  • Message Frequency: may vary depending on your application or service activity.
  • Charges: message and data rates may apply according to your mobile carrier, and you are solely responsible for these charges. Virtual Desk Assist LLC is not liable for fees imposed by your mobile carrier.
  • Opt-Out: reply STOP to unsubscribe at any time. After opting out, no further SMS will be sent unless you opt in again.
  • Help: reply HELP or contact us at info@workko.com.
  • No Marketing: we will not send promotional or advertising SMS without your separate explicit consent.
  • Compliance: we comply with applicable SMS and communication laws, including TCPA and CAN-SPAM.

10. Confidentiality

Both parties must protect confidential information and use it only for providing or receiving Services.

11. Service Availability and Changes

We aim to maintain reliable access but do not guarantee uninterrupted availability. Features may be modified with reasonable notice.

12. Termination

We may suspend or terminate access for non-payment, security risks, or violations of these Terms. Certain provisions, including confidentiality and limitations of liability, survive termination.

13. Disclaimers and Limitation of Liability

The Services are provided "as is." To the maximum extent permitted by law, we dismiss all implied warranties. Liability is limited to amounts paid in the three months prior to the claim, unless otherwise stated in writing.

14. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Wyoming, USA. Venue shall be the state or federal courts of Wyoming.

15. Updates

We may update these Terms periodically. Continued use of the Services after updates constitutes acceptance.
